Playing 8 ball you have stripes. Your shot?
My Solution
The shot I took was to kick 2 rails. Remember that when approaching the rails at angles like
this the cue ball will come off the second rail at a much sharper angle than the approach angle..
When playing a game of bank the eight where I had handicapped myself to shoot at least 2 rails,
when the eight ball was positioned where the nine is in the diagram, I used this shot to sink the eight for the win.
Nine Ball, Your Shot?

Shoot on the two using draw. Take into account that if the cue ball
is still rotating backwards (draw shot), when it contacts another ball, it
will come off the ball at the same angle as it came in at. The angle
itself will not change if you vary the strenth of your shot but the harder
you shoot the futher the cue will travel along a right angle before the friction
of the draw shot will take effect and the ball will start to travel on
the angle itended.
Nine Ball, Your Shot?
 Use
follow and a firm shot. If you hit dead center ( or almost
dead center ) on an object ball, the cue ball will plow through and the follow
will keep the cueball on track. If this was 8 ball and the 3
was changed to a stripe this would also be a solution to being left this
shot.
